Consulting Services

Sacred Practice can work with your organization’s leadership and staff over time to bring more intentionality and thoughtfulness to your work. I will be a calm, steady, and reassuring presence throughout the process.

My goal is to tailor the process to your needs, whether you are a synagogue or otherwise involved in Jewish education or community-building. During our time together, I will:

  • Guide the process of creating a vision statement (your North Star).

  • Listen supportively to perspectives from individuals and understand what their aspirations are. I will help build a shared appreciation of multiple perspectives: clergy, lay leadership, professionals, employees.

  • Define strategies for implementing your organization’s vision throughout the entire team’s work. I will help you think about every aspect of what you do —even the seemingly most mundane and routine tasks — and find ways for everyone to derive more meaning in their work.

  • Provide opportunities to reflect on roles and responsibilities, reimagine them, and empower staff members who hold those roles.

  • Cultivate an environment where individuals and groups can be vulnerable, think creatively, and experiment with bold initiatives that nurture enduring personal and professional growth.

Deliverables: Vision Statement, Implementation Plan, Ongoing Consulting and Advising (as needed/desired, for individuals and small groups)

Getting Started

There is no fee for initial “getting acquainted” and information-gathering conversation(s). Once we agree on a scope of service, fees will be based on an hourly rate. Some organizations opt to create a plan and cap services at an amount that works within their budget. Engagements can range from several months up to two years.

In our first conversation, I’ll want to learn as much as I can about your organization:

  • What are your organization’s goals?

  • What are your goals in working with Sacred Practice?

  • What’s your current vision statement?  How widely is it known and understood?

  • How does it guide and inform current practice?

  • What’s the structure of your leadership and professional staff? What are your strategies for cultivating leadership?  How do you train both leadership and employees in all areas?

  • What are your organization’s strengths and challenges?

“My life’s work has been connecting seekers to meaning and community and supporting them in their own process to deepen their path.”
